Re-purposed manufacturing facility
Our manufacturing facility is a re-purposed 1970's train maintenance facility, converted into a sustainable biodegradable factory. We're taking the old and run-down and giving it a new lease of life!

Australian farming communities
All our wheat straw raw materials come direct from uncontaminated farms located in the Central West Region of NSW around the towns of Parkes, Forbes, Dubbo and Mudgee; all the way up to Tamworth.
Non-contaiminated bio-mass waste
All our wheat straw comes from the bottom half of wheat crops, normally considered waste and left on the ground rot, burned or baled for cattle bedding. We take an unused waste product and turn it into something usable and sustainable. Best of all, it's not coming from a contaminated or toxic overseas biomass waste dump.
Safe for gardens and landfill
Because NuPAL products are made from 100% wheat straw they're genuinely 'home compostable' and can safely go into a compost bin, landfill or even a garden. It's like burying straw. It's just in a different shape and form and takes a little longer to decompose because it's a little larger than straw.
Safe for oceans and waterways
Marine wildlife won't think it's a jellyfish. It can't strangle them and being organic matter it will absorb water rapidly and breakdown much faster than plastic and even bio-plastics.
